UA Board of Trustees Approves Tuition & Fees Hike for 2016-17 School Year

The University of Arkansas Board of Trustees has approved raising costs for students. The board voted Thursday morning.
Wednesday the UA Audit and Fiscal Responsibility Committee also voted in favor of the proposal.
The increase is 3% for tuition and fees, that adds up to about $300 a year.
According to the University, the money from the tuition hike will go towards salary increases, scholarships, facilities, and other academic items.
