FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA) — The University of Arkansas for Medical Services transformed into a coffee shop Tuesday morning for a good cause.
With the help of Onyx Coffee Lab, the northwest campus lobby was the breakfast hot spot.
In honor of the annual Day of Giving, anyone who donated to UAMS got a fresh coffee and warm pastry.
David Wise, communications director, said this is the second year they’ve held the popular event.
“We just thought that would be a unique way for people to get involved and everyone loves coffee and pastries and it seems to be a success,” Wise said.
The northwest campus hopes to raise $24,000.
