A first of it’s kind water bottle filling station is keeping kids hydrated in Bentonville.
The American Heart Association of Northwest Arkansas, Healthy Active Arkansas, the Beaver Water District and RB dedicated it’s first H2O and GO Station Tuesday at Old High Middle School.
The school’s principal said the station has been a big hit with the students.
“The kids have absolutely loved it,” said Assistant Principal Jason Brunner. “We’ve only had it for a couple of weeks. It’s been a hit, and we are seeing the kids literally line up to hydrate, and we know hydration is such a big thing. We’re promoting health.”
The purpose of the H2O and GO Station is to provide schoolchildren with more access to free, clean drinking water no matter where they live.
