UPDATE: Boil Order Lifted for Benton County Homeowners


The precautionary boil order issued in Benton County on Wednesday, February 27, has been lifted for homeowners in Rogers. 

The Arkansas Department of Health notified the Benton County Water Authority #5 (BCWA5) that the water is now safe to drink, according to a Benton County news release.

A precautionary boil order has been issued in Benton County for Wednesday, February 27.

All customers serviced by Benton County Water Authority #5 (BCWA5) are affected by this precautionary boil order, according to a Benton County news release.

The boil order will remain in effect until they receive samples back from the Arkansas Department of Health indicating the water is safe to drink, the release states.

BCWA5 serves around 590 customers east of the highway 12 bridge in Rogers, according to the release.

“You should boil your water briskly for one minute prior to use,” the news release states.
