UPDATE: Bond Set for Naked Man who Destroyed Fayetteville Vintage Store

It’s not something you see every day, a naked man causing a scene on College Avenue after destroying the inside of a local vintage store.

Twenty-seven-year-old Timothy Wood is facing several charges for an incident that occurred on Saturday afternoon, January 5, according to the Washington County Detention Center’s booking sheet.

Wood was in court on Monday for a bond hearing. The bond was set at $5,000.

The preliminary report states that at one point, Wood entered a truck through an open window while a mother and her son were in the vehicle.

Wood attempted to grab the child but eventually left the vehicle, stealing a carton of cigarettes and a can of soda.

According to the preliminary report, Wood threw an unopened can of soda at a vehicle and struck the operator of the vehicle, which caused a laceration and bruising.

Wood took off running toward the 410 Vintage and entered the business. Wood was reported to have yelled and screamed while walking around and terrorizing the employees.

Wood eventually left the store. Police arrived on scene moments later and attempted to arrest Wood.

After fleeing and getting away from officers, police finally subdued Wood and placed him under arrest.

Once inside Washington County Detention Center, Wood continued to disobey orders and was eventually tasered by deputies while in the booking area.

Wood is facing multiple charges including breaking or entering, 3rd degree battery, public intoxication, endangering the welfare of a minor, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, theft and fleeing.
