UPDATE: Fort Smith PD Make Arrests for Package Thefts

UPDATE: Fort Smith Police have arrested John Michael Carlisle Clement and Kimberly Husman in connection to a package stolen in Fort Smith. 

Clement and Husman were in possession of property that led to the clearance of multiple burglaries and fraud cases.

According to a FSPD Facebook post, on Friday, Nov. 23, police received information the gray Kia Optima belonging to Kimberly Husman was near the 3400 block of Duke Avenue.

Patrol Officers located it and called the Criminal Investigations Division.

“After briefly monitoring the location, CID spotted Husman and John Clement walking out of a residence and confronted them,” the post says. “Both suspects gave voluntary accounts not only of their involvement in the package theft, but also other similar cases in the surrounding region.”

Clement was additionally charged with several narcotic offenses.

“We would like to give a huge thanks to all the officers that helped, and to the public for your tips and help in spreading the word.”

Police are searching for a man that stole a package from someone’s door in Fort Smith. 

A warrant has been issued for John Michael Carlisle Clement from the package theft video on Wednesday. To see that video, click on the Facebook post below the story. 

Clement will likely be in the company of Kimberly Husman, who is the owner of the gray Kia Optima in the video.
