UPDATE: Missing Elderly Springdale Woman Found

UPDATE: Barbara Norton, 80, has been located and is well, according to Springdale police.

She will be checked out by medical personnel to ensure she gets any medical treatment that she might need.

ORIGINAL STORY:

SPRINGDALE, Ark. (KNWA) — Authorities need help finding an 80-year-old woman who is suffering from dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.

Barbara Norton went missing at around 12:45 p.m. Monday. She was last seen at the intersection of Turner Street and Don Tyson Parkway, according to an Arkansas State Police Silver Alert.

Norton is described as a white with fair skin, 5’4″ tall, 104 pounds and as having brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a red T-shirt and pink sweat pants and carrying an armful of plants.

Anyone who has seen Norton or has information on her whereabouts is asked to call Springdale police immediately at (479) 751-4542.
