UPDATE: Three Victims of Fatal Multi-Vehicle Crash Identified

UPDATE: Authorities have identified the three drivers killed in a multi-vehicle collision.

Eddie Scott, 39, of Waldron, Gabe Gryner, 39, of Van Buren and Kalep Davis, 29, of Chester all died from fatal injuries suffered in a four-vehicle crash near Exit 3 in Crawford County Monday morning, according to an Arkansas State Police fatal accident report.

A tractor trailer driven by Scott was heading north on Interstate 540 when it crossed the median into the southbound lanes and struck another tractor trailer, a pickup truck and dump truck, according to the report.

The driver who survived suffered minor injuries.

An accident on Interstate 540 is blocking all lanes of southbound traffic and is a deadly accident.

According to ARDOT spokesperson, Danny Straessle, the accident occurred near Exit 3 in Crawford County at 8:12 a.m.

The accident involves two commercial vehicles and one passenger vehicle.

Public Information Officer with Arkansas State Police Bill Sadler says a commercial carrier was northbound on Interstate 540 when the driver lost control and crossed the median.

Sadler says the driver struck another commercial carrier in the southbound lane. The collision spun off and hit a dump truck that was traveling southbound.

All three drivers were killed in the accident. Sadler says a fourth vehicle was involved and the driver suffered minor injuries.
