Update: Victim Identified in Fort Smith Hotel Shooting

UPDATE (1 p.m.): 

FORT SMITH, Ark. (KNWA) — Fort Smith police identified suspects and the victim in Thursday’s fatal shooting. 

The victim was identified as Ethan Meagley, 27, police say. 

Authorities said Noah Bell, 19, is thought to be somehow involved in the crime, and he was arrested on suspicion of aggravated robbery (in an unrelated case). Charles Ross, 27, was a possible witness to the shooting and arrested on an unrelated warrant, authorities said. 

Police said they’re also searching for Christopher N. Walker, 34, thought to be homeless. He is considered armed and dangerous, according to authorities.

FORT SMITH, Ark. (KNWA) — One man is dead after a shooting at a Fort Smith hotel.

According to Fort Smith Police a shooting happened Thursday night on Towson Avenue at the River Valley Inn and Suites. 

Upon arrival, Fort Smith Police found a 30-year-old male with a gun shot wound who was transported to the hospital and pronounced dead. 

As of right now police say the shooter is on the loose and armed and dangerous. 

Police are still on scene and we are working to get you more information.
