The city of Van Buren is currently accepting applications for the position of police and fire dispatcher.
Applicants must be a US citizen, a minimum of 21 years old, free of any felony record, possess a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license.
Prior dispatch experience is not required.
Applications may be picked up at the Van Buren Police Department Information Desk, Monday thru Friday, between 8:00 a.m and 4:30 p.m, 800 Fayetteville Road, Van Buren, AR or by calling (479) 471-5022.
Only applications provided by the Van Buren Police Department will be accepted. Resumes submitted through online job sites will not be accepted.
Applications will not be accepted after 2:00 p.m., December 7, 2018.
Date of the written examination will be December 10, 2018, at 6:00 pm in the Van Buren Police Department Training Center, 800 Fayetteville Road.
