Van Buren Police Investigate an Early Morning Hit and Run

Police say they’re looking for a silver Toyota Tundra that was involved in a hit-and-run accident in Van Buren on Thursday (Feb. 21).

Detective Jonathan Wear, with the Van Buren Police Department, said the accident happened before 2:00 a.m. in the parking lot at the Simmons Plant in Van Buren.

Wear said the man who was hit sustained a head injury and a possible broken ankle. He was taken to a local hospital to be treated for his injuries, according to police.

Anyone with information on the Toyota Tundra is asked to call the Van Buren Police Department.
