ROGERS, Ark. (KFTA) — Thousands will come out to Pinnacle Country Club this weekend to enjoy all the Northwest Arkansas Championship has to offer.
And it takes an army of volunteers to pull off an event of this magnitude. This is Bill Carver’s fourth year of donating his time as a volunteer.
He shuttles people around from hole to hole on the course.
And it’s a role he enjoys because of the camaraderie among all the volunteers.
“You meet the same people every year that you volunteer and it’s just like a big family. We all have a good time and get the job done,” Carver said.
Carver and a number of the volunteers say they do it because they enjoy meeting the golfers and working with the public.
