Volunteers Needed for Tree Planting Blitz


Bentonville, Ark. (KFTA) — Bentonville and Walmart’s 6th Annual Tree Planting Blitz begins in a few weeks, and volunteers are needed. 

The event begins Friday, Nov. 2 at 8 a.m., according to a news release.

“We need volunteers to help plant nearly 300 trees at three locations throughout Bentonville! This event is part of the ‘Keep Arkansas Beautiful/the fall Great Arkansas Cleanup,’” the news release states.

Volunteers will help plant trees. 

“Holes will already be dug and the trees will be placed on-site. Simply help plant the trees,” the news release states.

A tree planting expert will assist volunteers.

Lunch and an event T shirt is provided to volunteers.
