The Northwest Arkansas community came together today for the Fourth Annual Walk for Wishes.
The walk helps the Make-A-Wish Foundation fund the wishes of local children with critical illnesses.
Michael Strong, whose niece benefited from the Make-A-Wish Foundation, was among those walking for a cause.
“She had a liver transplant a couple years ago. Make-A-Wish got to send her to Disneyworld, her and her family,” said Strong. “It was a great experience for them, and they’re really appreciative.”
There are currently 42 kids in the wish process in Northwest Arkansas.
Walk for Wishes raises money to grant the wishes of these 42 kids, as well as more kids to come.
