Walmart to Move Jobs Back to NWA

News

BENTONVILLE, Ark. — Walmart announced it will move more jobs back to Arkansas.

The company will close a claims office in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, but intends to move those jobs back to Rogers.

Officials say the move is an attempt to streamline operations to more efficiently serve customers.  Employees in the office will have opportunities to take up other positions in Bartlesville.

Walmart eliminated a total of 7,000 jobs last year.
