A Washington County Justice of the Peace was arrested for driving while intoxicated on Wednesday night.
Andrea Jenkins, 41, was arrested after driving to the scene of an accident involving her son. Officers smelled alcohol and asked her to perform a Standardized Field Sobriety Test.
At the jail, Jenkins was shown to have a Blood Alcohol Concentration of .17. According to the preliminary report form, Jenkins interrupted officers during the sobriety tests, cursed and yelled at the officers on the way to jail.
Jenkins told officers that she was a teacher, school bus driver and Justice of the Peace.
Online records show that Jenkins is a Justice of the Peace in District 10.
Jenkins was released Thursday at 5:52 a.m. She has a hearing for the DWI on July 2.
