A special meeting was held Monday in Washington County to discuss different planning issues.
The Washington County Planning Office went over current developments, minor subdivison ordinance changes and possible parking requirements for the county.
“We don’t have a parking standard, we don’t have a standard number of parking spaces required per number of square feet for example um.. and we just need to, its come up recently at one of our planning board meetings,” said Nathan Crouch, planning director. “We just need to discuss that and determine whether or not we want to put that into place, or if we want to look out to the cities and see what they require.”
This was the first meeting of the year.
