If you vote in Washington County, the zone you vote in may be different.
The Washington County Election Commission held a meeting Thursday to inform voters about changes happening within the county.
Registered voters that live in Precinct 9 on South Locust Avenue are now eligible to vote in Zone 5.
“We think it’s important to have faith in the system and for the voters to realize that we take any concerns that they have seriously and that we want to make sure that elections are held correctly,” said Jennifer Price, Washington County election coordinator.
This change effected 30 registered voters, and letters have been sent to inform them if they did not attend the meeting.
