Washington Regional Medical Foundation has announced the 2019 Gala at the Walton Art’s Center in July. The Gala is one of the region’s longest standing philanthropic events with over 23 years of history benefitting hospital programs and projects that promote community health causes. Attendees can expect a lively program that features unique performances and spotlights exceptional healthcare leadership. The Gala is held every other year and alternates with the Foundation’s other primary fundraising event, the Hospice Summer Garden Party.
The Foundation also announced that they are now accepting nominations for the 2019 Outstanding Health Leadership Award, also known as the Eagle Award. Established to honor individuals or organizations that have made extraordinary contributions to the improvement and/or delivery of healthcare services in the four-county area of Northwest Arkansas, the award will be presented at Washington Regional’s Gala.
Nominations for Eagle Awards will be accepted and reviewed by a confidential committee. Examples of possible nominees include volunteers, businesses, organizations, physicians, nurses, healthcare professionals/providers and government officials.
