WATCH: Two Corps employees rescued by helicopter from rising floodwaters

Two dam operators from the Army Corps of Engineers had to be rescued by helicopter at Lock and Dam 13 in Barling, according to the Arkansas Department of Emergency Management.

The pair were working on the dam when rising water levels left them trapped on the roof.

A National Guard helicopter from Camp Robinson in Little Rock escorted the two Corps employees to safety.
