The Arkansas Scholarship Lottery (ASL) gave away 100 free, yes FREE, Powerball lottery tickets in downtown Fayetteville Tuesday – one could be worth $750 million.
Members of the ASL passed out $2 lottery tickets with Power Play at the corner of Dickson St. and West Ave. from noon to 1 p.m.
Lottery enthusiasts, people on their lunch break, and anyone else passing by had the chance at changing their life. Some took advantage of the opportunity to grab a ticket and scholarship lottery swag while some said, “no,” for the chance to win.
Stories of what people would do with millions upon millions of dollars whispered in the air.
Now people wait for Wednesday’s drawing at 9:59 p.m. for their chance at Powerball riches.
