Salvation Army and WelcomeHealth of Northwest Arkansas are teaming up to hold a free clinic once a month.

The clinic will be held the first Thursday of even months and the third Thursday of odd months at The Salvation Army Area Command.  The first will be on August 4 from 5 p.m. – 6 p.m.

The clinic will offer services such as wound care and evaluation, blood pressure, heart rate, temperature measurements, patient education and limited physical exams.

“We are excited to forge another positive partnership in the community of Northwest Arkansas,” said Major Mary Matthews, Associate Area Commander.  “Healthcare is an absolute necessity for our clients and it can be very hard to access for low-income families and individuals.  WelcomeHealth provides an incredible service for this community, and we are excited to play our part.”
