WESTVILLE, Okla. (KJRH) — A Westville police officer was found dead in his home on Tuesday, sources say.

Law enforcement officials do not suspect foul play at this time.

The Westville Police Department said they lost an officer Tuesday, and details would be revealed in the investigation. The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation identified the officer as Brandon L. Pelfrey, 24.

Despite the look of the scene, the investigation in Adair County continues.

Sources said that the young officer had suffered from diabetes.
