What You Need to Know Before Heading to the Polls

News

Central Methodist church in Fayetteville is one of the places where you can vote today in Washington County.

Polls across the state of Arkansas opened at 7:30 this morning and they will stay open until 7:30 tonight.

And, if you get in line before closing time, you will still be allowed to vote.

As a reminder, make sure you have what you need before you head to the polls.

Bring a photo id issued by the state of Arkansas or the United States government, which  can be an Arkansas license, passport, military id, or a concealed carry license.

Keeping all this in mind will ensure your voice is heard in this election.

“If you don’t make your choices known at the polling site, then you’re going to end up not being a participant in your government. So every election is important,” Benton County Chief Deputy Clerk Betsy Harrell says.

Now again, the polls will be open from 7:30 to 7:30 in Arkansas.
