FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA) — As Razorback fans head to Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium this weekend, there are a few changes fans should be aware of.

New food options for the main concourse include Slim Chickens and Dickey’s Barbecue Pit. For suites, new options include a tomato mozzarella board and a sausage and cheese board. New desserts like various cheesecakes and ice cream will be available.

Fans will now be able to scan their own tickets upon entry to the stadium. Officials say self-scanning stations will be set up at every stadium gate.

Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium has been re-numbered to provide a sequential flow throughout the seat areas. The revised numbering system will allow fans to access their seats more efficiently. Fans should enter the stadium at the gate indicted on their ticket. The gate number is located in the lower middle portion of the Razorback game day ticket near the row and seat number.

A new full 360 degree Level 1 concourse is now open. Fans will be able to now access all sides of the stadium. The Level 1 Concourse is located one level below the Mezzanine or street level. The Mezzanine level concourse allows movement throughout the east, west and north seating sections.

Razorback fans can expect to see over 200 officers at every football game. These officers come from all over Washington and Benton County and even across the state.

Concealed handguns will not be allowed in the stadium after state police approved plans to exempt dozens of Arkansas college sports facilities from a law where guns can be carried.

Captain Matt Mills with UA Police couldn’t give us details about this plan for security reasons, but says his team is briefed before every game and is prepared.

“We have different levels of response based on the type of call we receive. Our officers are aware of those beforehand as well as our game staff from Landmark and athletics, and we would enact those plans as necessary based on the potential threat,” Mills said.

The SEC clear bag policy is still in effect which means clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bags are allowed in. Fans may also carry small clutch purses.
