Where to Get a Flu Shot in NWA and the River Valley

ARKANSAS (KNWA) - With flu season just around the corner, many people will be looking to get vaccinated. 

The Benton County Health Unit of the Arkansas Department of Health (ADH) will offer flu vaccinations at the Rogers Activity Center (315 W. Olive, Rogers, AR) on Oct. 5 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

In the River Valley, the Sebastian County Health Unit will offer vaccinations at the Community Storm Shelter at Ben Geren Park (7700 S. Zero St., Fort Smith, AR) from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. 

Both location ask those looking to get vaccinated to bring insurance cards. People without insurance or whose insurance does not cover the shot will be able to get vaccinated at no charge. 

Annual flu vaccination is recommended for most adults and children six months and older. The flu virus changes from year to year, and this year’s vaccine protects against the flu viruses that are expected to cause the most illness this flu season.

Flu Vaccine Clinic at Rogers Activity Center

The Benton County Health Unit of the Arkansas Department of Health (ADH) will offer fluvaccinations at the Rogers Activity Center, 315 W. Olive, Rogers, AR., from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. 

People should bring their insurance cards with them to the flu vaccine clinic. If they do not have insurance or the insurance does not cover flu shots, the vaccine will be available AT NO CHARGE
