U.S. Representative Steve Womack visited the World Trade Center in Rogers Monday.
Womack gave a briefing that featured updates and a description of the benefits Arkansas companies receive from the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement and the North American Free Trade Agreement.
The companies attending just returned from participating in a World Trade Center Arkansas trade mission to Querétaro, Mexico, to grow international sales.
“They were so, so generous, so friendly, so wanting to please us, and they have a unique desire there to become more like us in commerce, and they admire the way that we generate business,” said John Sinclair, owner of Lycus, Ltd.
Sinclair said that his business trades mainly with Asian countries, but would rather trade within the North American continent in the future.
