Woman Arrested for Multiple DWI’s Released from Detention Center

FAYETTEVILLE — A woman who previously hit and killed a construction worker and was arrested three times for DWI last year is out of jail.

Records show Jo Jackson was released from the Washington County Detention Center Wednesday, after serving a 9 month prison sentence.

In September, Jackson pleaded guilty to two counts of Driving While Intoxicated. In 2012, Jackson pleaded guilty to Negligent Homicide after hitting and killing road construction worker Jack Luper. She served 90 days in jail for that crime.
