WASHINGTON COUNTY, Ark. (KFTA) — A suspect pleaded guilty Friday for her role in the brutal death of a Northwest Arkansas woman.

Desire Amber Treat, 32, helped kill Victoria Davis on Aug. 19, 2015, according to her plea bargain.

Police said the 24 year old victim was held captive at her home and beaten to death by five people.

Treat had originally been charged as an accomplice to capital murder.

She was sentenced to 33 years at the Arkansas Department of Correction by a Washington County Circuit judge as part of her plea agreement to a lesser charge.

Mark Chumley, 49, was convicted in October of capital murder and a jury sentenced him to life without parole for being an accomplice to the murder of Victoria Davis.

The victim’s husband, John Davis, pleaded guilty earlier this year to the same charge and was sentenced to 37 years in prison.

Christopher Treat and Rebecca Lloyd were also charged with being accomplices to capital murder.

Christopher Treat has a court date next week, and Lloyd’s case is still pending.
