Woman struck by pickup after leaving Mini-Mart in Greenland


A woman was struck by a pickup in Greenland Thursday, May 2.

Central EMS was called to Mini-Mart, 25 N. Main St., in Greenland at around noon regarding a woman hit by a pickup.

Greenland Police Chief Gary Ricker said the woman was coming out of Mini-Mart as a pickup was pulling in. He said the woman was struck by the pickup.

The woman suffered head and hip injuries, but is expected to be okay, Ricker said.

The woman was taken to a nearby hospital.
