Woman Who Accused Former Superintendent of Sexual Harassment Files Lawsuit

News

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KFTA) — Shae Lynn Newman, the woman who accused former Fayetteville superintendent Dr. Matthew Wendt of sexual harassment, has filed a lawsuit to dismiss new charges brought upon her.

Back in August, Wendt filed a suit stating he never forced Newman into an inappropriate relationship.

Wendt claims Newman caused intentional disruptions so his contract with Fayetteville Public Schools would be terminated.

Newman said the suit has no merit and that Wendt’s behaviors are of no fault but his own.
