Springdale High School students honored Black History Month in a creative way.
The students decorated classroom doors with quotes from influential African Americans.
Senior Jada Potter spearheaded the effort and said she wanted to make an impact when celebrating Black History Month.
“We don’t just look at Black History Month as just a month,” Potter said. “I mean there is reasons, there’s everything that someone did. Things that happened in the past has an effect on our future.”
Potter said she is thankful for the support of her teachers, principal and fellow classmates for making the project possible.
