Senator John Boozman was in Rogers for the 10th anniversary celebration of the World Trade Center Arkansas.
The center was launched as the vision of Senator Boozman in 2007. He said it plays a role in connecting Arkansas businesses with international partners which brings economic benefits for our state.
“The World Trade Center has done a great job of that. It’s been a huge success and it’s something I think we can be very, very proud of,” said Boozman.
“We have met and hosted consul generals, ambassadors, even country presidents here at the trade center for the last 10 years, probably over 60,” said Dan Hendrix, President & CEO of the World Trade Center Arkansas.
The center is focused on trade development to expand Arkansas manufactured, agricultural and service industry exports.
