Crawford County and Van Buren officials are holding a press conference on the historic flooding in their area.
Van Buren city officials say its levee is strong right now and holding, but police and fire are monitoring it 24/7.
No water has gone over the levee.
Flash flooding remains a concern. Van Buren Mayor Joe Hurst says plans are in place for worst case scenarios.
The city has requested flood pumps from the Arkansas Department of Emergency Management.
Shelter will be available with help from the red cross, if necessary.
A plan is also in place with the Chamber of Commerce.
If there is flooding downtown, businesses will be able to use office space at the Van Buren City Library.
City leaders say they will continue to have daily press conferences to inform the public.
They are still encouraging everyone to stay away from levees and flood waters, especially these coming days.
