Arkansas awaits the word of four prospects today as National Signing Day has arrived for anyone who didn’t sign in the early period.

Arkansas will sign Mansfield (Texas) Legacy safety Jalen Catalon at 8 a.m.. Warren wide receiver Treylon Burks will follow at 10 a.m. and then Pulaski Academy tight end Hudson Henry at 12:30.Those three are committed to Arkansas and will join the 22 from the early signing period.

But that’s where it gets interesting. Phenix City (Ala.) Central running back A’Montae Spivey committed to Arkansas on Aug. 6, but didn’t sign early. At 8:30 a.m. today, he will sign with either Arkansas or Ole Miss. He took an official visit to Ole Miss the Jan. 25 weekend.

Then at 10:30 a.m.,, Arkansas will find out the status of its other commitment. Murfreesboro (Tenn.) Blackman cornerback Adonis Otey will sign with either USC or the Hogs. Otey committed to Arkansas on Oct. 1, but chose to not sign early. Many expect Otey to flip to USC, but he has been tightlipped about his decision.

Then the Hogs hope to add a pair of linebackers. Dodge City (Kan.) Community College linebacker Lakia Henry will announce his decision at 1 p.m. between the Hogs, Ole Miss and Texas. He visited Arkansas for the LSU game, but did take an unofficial visit to Fayetteville on Sunday following his trip to Texas.

At 4 p.m., Dyersburg (Tenn.) Central linebacker Chris Russell will sign with either Arkansas or Texas A&M. He officially visited the Aggies Jan. 11-13 and the Hogs on Jan 25 weekend. He canceled scheduled visits to Tennessee and Auburn.

In other news, Arkansas picked up another preferred walk-on offer commitment on Tuesday night.. Highland Park (Texas) defensive back Hudson Clark, who visited Arkansas the Jan. 18 weekend, committed to the Hogs.

As a senior, Clark had 40 tackles, including 31 unassisted, three tackles for loss, eight interceptions returning one for a touchdown and six pass breakups.

He joins Greenwood defensive end Morgan Hanna, Pulaski Academy wide receiver John David White, Searcy offensive lineman Andrew Vest and Shiloh Christian offensive lineman Logan Kallesen as preferred walk-on pledges in this class. Tyler (Texas) Grace Community athlete Braydon Stone has also pledged to be a walk on at Arkansas.
