FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Arkansas and Liberty have agreed to a non-conference matchup slated for November 5, 2022, at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium.
It will be the first meeting between the two teams, as the Liberty program began in 1973 as Lynchburg Baptist College. The Flames are the second non-conference opponent announced for the Razorbacks in 2022, as Arkansas will travel to Provo, Utah, to take on BYU on Oct. 15.
Next season’s non-conference slate is filled with Portland State (8/31), Colorado State (9/14), San Jose State (9/21) and Western Kentucky (11/9), with all four contests being played in Fayetteville at DWRRS. In 2020, the Razorbacks will host Kent State on Sept. 5 before beginning a home-and-home at Notre Dame the following week, with a return date from the Irish to Fayetteville set for 2025.
Missouri State (9/4), Texas (9/11) and Georgia Southern (9/18) make up Arkansas’ announced non-conference schedule in 2021. The Razorbacks will host BYU in 2023 and start a home-and-home with Oklahoma State in Stillwater in 2024 and in Fayetteville in 2027.
