Prior to its game with LSU on Saturday, Arkansas extended a scholarship offer to Tulsa (Okla.) Edison running back Sevion Morrison.
Morrison, 5-11, 187, announced the offer on Twitter. As a junior, Morrison rushed 229 times for 2,731 yards and 35 touchdowns.
Morrison made the unofficial visit to Arkansas on Saturday with two other 2020 recruits from Oklahoma, Broken Arrow cornerback Myles Slusher and Tulsa Booker T. Washington wide receiver JJ Hester. Both hold offers from the Hogs and numerous others around the nation.
Arkansas joins Nebraska, Iowa State, Nevada and Missouri in offering Morrison. The 2018 season ended for Morrison on Friday night when Claremore defeated them 34-7 in the Class 5A state playoffs.
Morrison, Slusher and Hester are among the approximately 80 recruits at Arkansas on Saturday.
