Arkansas freshman, Connor Noland, is set to get the start on the mound in the Fayetteville Regional opener on Friday.

Arkansas and Central Connecticut State will face off in game one of the NCAA Regional this Friday at 1pm at Baum Walker Stadium. Which is quite interesting as just one year earlier, Noland was pitching the Greenwood Bulldogs to a state title at Baum.

Noland currently holds a 2-4 record with a 3.71 ERA. However, he has done well on the bump for  Arkansas as of late. During his last outing against Ole Miss in the SEC Tournament, Noland held the Rebels to just 1 run and 2 hits.

Arkansas’ Ace, Isaiah Campbell, will start for Arkansas on Saturday when the Hogs face either California or TCU.
