Oklahoma City (Okla.) Bishop McGuinness 2020 running back Dominic Richardson was among the large group of recruits at Arkansas’ Elite Prospect Day.
Following the visit, Richardson, 6-1, 210, gave his impressions of Arkansas.
“It is a great atmosphere out here and I love it,” Richardson said. “It was everything that I expected.”
What were the highlights?
“I would say just talking to the coaches, going to players’ meeting and just learning the explanations of what they do, just talking to the head coach,” Richardson said. “How dedicated they are to you if you are committed to them. It’s all there for you, all the information.”
Richardson has double-digit offers. Where does Arkansas rank on your list?
“They are definitely in my top five right now,” Richardson said. “So they are pretty high on my list right now.”
Other teams up there?
“I would TCU, Iowa State, definitely Arkansas, OU and Texas is up there as well,” Richardson said.
Following your junior season, what are you working on to improve your game?
“I am working on my speed right now,” Richardson said. “I have added 15 pounds since last season. I am 210 right now. Last year I was 190 to 195. I am working on my speed, my vision on the field, making my cuts faster and seeing holes on the field. I am working on that a lot.”
I had great time up on the Hill’s today. Amazing atmosphere and a great coaching staff surrounded by great people. #WPS🐗 pic.twitter.com/M62Hlw70uR— Dominic Richardson (@Dominic04527958) March 10, 2019
What other visits do you have lined up now?
“My next visit is probably going to be to Baylor in Waco,” Richardson said. “After that I might go to Nebraska.”
