ROGERS, Ark. (KNWA) — It’s a mad dash to get everything ready for the week-long Northwest Arkansas Championship.
It’s a years worth of work set to highlight nine of the 10 top female golfers in the world.
Organizers have made the event very family friendly, from concession items between $1-3 to $10 tickets to free admission for children under 17 to many activities catered to kids.
“You get on site and there’s activities everywhere. There’s a put-put course for kids. There’s a new Walmart and P&G STEAM Center which is a fun, interactive experience for kids,” said Harry Hardy, LPGA tournament director.
This is the 12th year for the NWA Championship. All the fun begins next Monday.
