Morgan Hanna Makes College Decision

Greenwood Class of 2019 defensive end Morgan Hanna has committed to be a preferred walk-on at Arkansas.

Hanna announced the decision on Twitter Monday.

Hanna, 6-4, 220, chose the Hogs over preferred walk-on offers from Alabama and TCU. He visited all three schools.

As a senior, Hanna finished with 90 tackles, 19 unassisted, 19 tackles for loss, eight sacks, 12 quarterback hurries and one fumble recovery. He helped the Bulldogs to back-to-back Class 6A state championships. 

He visited Arkansas on Jan. 21 then went to TCU on Jan. 26 and spent this past Saturday at Alabama. He also had a preferred walk-on offer from UCA. He had scholarship offers from Arkansas Tech, McPherson College, Missouri Southern, Ouachita Baptist and Henderson State. 

Hanna is the sixth PWO commitment for the Hogs.

Andrew Vest, OL, 6-6, 305, Searcy — Enrolled at Arkansas at midterm. Will likely play guard or center with Hogs. Chose Hogs over offer from UCA and others.

Logan Kallesen, OL, 6-4, 295, Shiloh Christian — Another talented offensive lineman who will play center at Arkansas. Chose the Hogs over offer from Harding and others.

John David White, WR, 6-0, 185, Pulaski Academy — Caught 86 passes for 1,732 yards and 30 touchdowns as senior. Chose the Razorbacks over offer from UCA and others. 

Logan Orr, LB, 6-2, 220. Jonesboro — Finished 2018 with 93 tackles, 47 unassisted, five tackles for loss, two quarterback hurries, one interception and completed 1-1 passing for 16 yards and rushed 13 times for 53 yards and two touchdowns. 

Braydon Stone, ATH, 5-11, 175, Tyler (Texas) Grace Community — As a senior, he completed 137 of 251 passes for 1,560 yards and 19 touchdowns while rushing 98 times for 979 yards and 13 touchdowns. Chose Hogs over offers from Hendrix College, Beloit College and Southwestern.

Darius Bowers, QB, 6-3. 194, Fayetteville — Committed to scholarship from UCA.

Zhane Harper, S, 6-0, 173, Cabot — Committed to scholarship from Arkansas Tech.

Jovoni Johnson, QB, 6-5, 205, Conway — Committed to scholarship from Rice.

Jake Steward, OL, 6-5, 305, Gardner-Edgerton (Kan.) — Committed to scholarship from SEMO.

Noah Rauschenburg, K, 6-2, 197, Tulsa (Okla.) Union — Committed to scholarship from Baylor.

Luke Rizzo, DS, 6-2, 220, The Woodlands (Texas) — Committed to Texas Tech.

Arkansas is still awaiting a decision from Memphis (Tenn.) Briarcrest tight end Richard Hunt, 6-7, 232, and the Highland Park (Texas) pair of wide receiver Finn Corwin, 5-10, 165, and defensive back Hudson Clark, 6-1, 170.
