Patriots fans descend on Atlanta ahead of Super Bowl

ATLANTA (NEXSTAR) — If you’re awarding the Lombardi trophy based off the fan vote, it’s time for the trophy presentation, because based off our eye test, everywhere you look., it seems like New England has already overtaken Atlanta.

A sea of blue and red has infiltrated their host city. But those fans donning blue and yellow are showing their support too.

“We won here in ’99. We’re undefeated in the city of Atlanta in the Super Bowl,” Atlanta resident Desmond Mitchell said.

Unfortunately for Wendall Silas of St. Louis, his wife Marie won’t be joining him in the Rams fan department. She’ll be wearing a different set of colors.

“I’m just hoping it’s not going to be a blowout, where you know, we wipe them across the field, so my wife don’t get too upset,” Wendall said.

“You know I tell him. He gotta get some haterade because you know, Brady is about to win his 6th championship,” Marie countered. “Yeah. Come Sunday, six. Number six. We’ll see.”
