Arkansas appears to get Good News on Injury Front Including Ty Storey

By Otis Kirk

Arkansas appears to have gotten good news on the injury front with the return of several injured players to practice including quarterback Ty Storey.

Storey left Saturday night's game early in the fourth quarter after taking a ferocious hit by Ole Miss' Zedrick Woods on the right sideline following a 10-yard run. Storey left at that point and didn't return. However, he was practicing on Tuesday and doing everything the other quarterbacks were doing during the open portion of practice. He took the first-team snaps at quarterback during the drills open to the media.

In addition to Storey, running back's Rakeem Boyd and T.J. Hammonds were practicing. Boyd left Saturday night's game in the second quarter and didn't return.

Defensive end McTelvin Agim also was practicing on Tuesday. He was among the injured players listed by Chad Morris following the game on Saturday night. Sophomore defensive lineman Briston Guidry was practicing in a green protective jersey. Guidry missed the past two games following a minor knee surgery.

Arkansas' right guard Johnny Gibson was practicing, but also in a protective green jersey. He practiced with one last week as well, but played on Saturday night.

Junior cornerback Ryan Pulley was among the defensive backs working on Tuesday. Pulley was ejected from Saturday's game with 29 seconds left. In addition, junior cornerback Britto Tutt was practicing.

Arkansas will play host to Tulsa on Saturday at 11 a.m. and it will be televised on the SEC Network. It will be Arkansas' homecoming game. Arkansas (1-6, 0-4) and Tulsa (1-5, 0-3) have both suffered some close losses this season.
