BASEBALL: Bryce Bonnin Is Leaving Program

Arkansas Head Baseball coach Dave Van Horn saying Tuesday Bryce Bonnin, along with Cole Turney and others, are leaving the program.

Bonnin, a freshman right-handed pitcher from Mont Belvieu, Texas, made 11 appearances in 2018 with an 4.26 ERA and a 1-0 record.

"Bryce wants to start, we see him as a reliever," said Van Horn, "Just up and down. There is a lot to it, I guess. In my opinion, and I don't know where he is going to end up, but he needs to go to a Junior College where they can put him on the mound and he can pitch. He's a guy that has a lot of talent with arm strength, but he needs to be able to take that into the game."
