The movie “Greater” opens in theaters to the public on Friday August 26th, but Tuesday the movie held a sneak peek for fans and all involved in the production.

The film is based on the life of former Arkansas Razorback walk-on Brandon Burlsworth, who died in a car accident 11 days after being drafted in the 1999 NFL draft.

Christopher Severio plays Burlsworth in the movie, “It’s been a long time coming. I’m excited. I know the people here and the crew that worked on this are excited.”
The life of former Razorback Brandon Burlsworth touched a lot of people, and now his life lives on through the movie.
“A great example to all of us, even though he was my brother he just did everything the way it’s suppose to be done. And against all obstacles and he had a lot of obstacles, and I think it’s going to resonate well with a lot of different audiences, not just football fans.” adds Brandon’s brother Marty.
A movie years in the making officially hitting the big screen, and the hearts of the actors, writers, producers, and directors who worked so hard to make it happen.
“We have this great thing thing going on and this great film because of what happened to him, so I dont know, that always stuck with me.” adds actor Josh Emerson.
Burlsworth’s story is now making Hog fans out of those who weren’t already.
“I’m a hockey guy through and through as a Canadian, but I’ve got my hat and I still wear my jersey, still have my Nathan Ward jersey so I wear that around.” adds Emerson.
“Before the film, I didn’t even know the story of who Brandon was, and wasn’t a football fan. Never played football I had to learn football through the process of the film and once we got done I became a football fan, but more than that an Arkansas fan.” adds Severio.
