Arkansas and four others will find out on Tuesday where Clemson grad transfer quarterback Kelly Bryant will play the 2019 college football season.

Bryant has his decision down to Auburn, Missouri, Mississippi State, North Carolina and Arkansas. He visited Arkansas the weekend they defeated Tulsa 23-0.

Rumors and reports based more on speculation and opinion are running rampant on the Internet tonight. A report in a Kansas City newspaper on Friday had Bryant down to Missouri and Auburn though there was no quotes to support that.

In fact, the last quotes from Bryant came on Sunday when he talked to the Opelika-Auburn News and he acknowledged no one had been eliminated.

“Nobody has separated. … I have not narrowed it down,” Bryant told Justin Lee from the Opelika-Auburn News. “All those schools are still in my decision. No one has narrowed it down yet.”

Lee asked if that is Auburn, Arkansas, Missouri, North Carolina and Mississippi State?

“Yes sir,” Bryant said. “All of those.”

Bryant is known to have a good relationship with Chad Morris. The former Clemson offensive coordinator, who just completed his first season as head coach at Arkansas, recruited him to Clemson though he never coached him. Morris left to become head coach at SMU before Bryant enrolled. However Bryant pointed out that was one of the things that caused him to have a great relationship with Morris was that he told him during the recruiting he might not be there. Bryant felt many coaches wouldn’t have told a recruit that and appreciated Morris’ honesty.

Pardon My Take is predicting Bryant commits to Arkansas on Tuesday. Once again though they have no quotes to support their opinion….only supposed sources.

Bryant, a former three-star recruit out of high school, left Clemson after four games in 2018. A new NCAA rule allowed him to redshirt and thus have another year of eligibility at another school. In four games this season, Bryant completed 36 of 54 passes for 461 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. He also rushed 30 times for 130 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

In his career at Clemson, Bryant completed 310 of 469 passes for 3,333 yards, 16 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. He also rushed 257 times for 987 yards and 16 touchdowns. He was 16-2 as a starter. That includes 4-0 as a senior and 12-2 as a junior.

Bryant told Lee he was uncertain what time he would make his decision on Tuesday.
