Dumas 2021 running back Kylin James is among the campers at Arkansas’ overnight camp that started Monday at 3 p.m.
It will conclude at 3 p.m. on Tuesday. While most of the top recruits will be at the camps on Friday and Saturday, James is someone to watch.
As a sophomore, he rushed 196 times for 1,076 yards and 13 touchdowns while also catching 26 passes for 406 yards and two touchdowns. He returned five kickoffs for 86 yards. On defense in spot duty, he had eight tackles, one interception and a fumble recovery.
James ran a laser 4.7 in the 40-yard dash on Monday. This comes after he ran a laser 4.53 in a combine in Little Rock on June 2.
James, 6-0, 214, is just as impressive in the classroom owning a 4.0 grade-point average. Murray State and William & Mary offered him scholarships following his June 2 combine showing.
He was at Arkansas last season for the Alabama game and also at a Prospect Day on March 9.
