Shiloh Christian offensive lineman Logan Kallesen has committed to be a preferred walk-on at Arkansas.
Kallesen, 6-4, 295, made the announcement on Twitter on Thursday.
He chose Arkansas over a scholarship to Harding and others. He visited Arkansas on Monday, Jan. 21, and said at the time he was leaning to Arkansas. He talked to Hogville.net and Pig Trail Nation following the visit.
“Definitely after this visit I feel a lot more comfortable with the preferred walk-on opportunity I have there,” Kallesen said. “So I feel very confident in Arkansas.”
Kallesen also talked to Arkansas’ Dustin Fry about the position he would play on the offensive line.
“Coach Fry said he wanted me to play center,” Kallesen said. “Maybe interior, but definitely center.”
He joins Pulaski Academy wide receiver John David White and Searcy offensive lineman Andrew Vest as preferred walk-on commitments in this class.
