Arkansas’ Jeff Traylor was at the schools of four running backs on Tuesday including two from Mississippi.
Greenville St. Joseph’s Dillon Johnson and Batesville South Panola’s Janari Dean are both holding offers from Arkansas and several other schools.
Johnson, 6-1, 190, is a four-star recruit. He holds offers from not just the Razorbacks, but from Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Missouri and several schools outside the SEC such as Oregon.
He will officially visit the Razorbacks June 12-14. He took an unofficial visit to Arkansas for a spring practice on March 30.
Dean, 6-0, 190, holds SEC offers from such schools as Alabama, Mississippi State, Ole Miss and Kentucky in addition to the Hogs.
On June 3rd I will be releasing my top 4 schools‼️‼️ — Janari Dean (@JanariDean400) May 15, 2019
He was at Arkansas on Jan. 26 for a Prospect Day. He and Arkansas quarterback signee KJ Jefferson, who is from Sardis (Miss.) North Panola, are cousins.
Arkansas will likely sign two running backs in the Class of 2020.
