Two of the top prospects in Arkansas in the 2020 class have combined to net 24 scholarship offers.
Morrilton quarterback Jacolby Criswell and Hazen two-way end Blayne Toll each have 12 offers at this time. Criswell recently tweeted out congrats to Toll for an offer from Kansas and also dropped a hint about the possible future of the two.
Toll received an offer from LSU on Thursday morning. It was his first SEC offer. Toll is one of the hottest prospects in his class as he has gained four offers just in January. In addition to LSU and Kansas, Toll also has picked up offers from Central Michigan and TCU.
Toll, 6-5, 235, and Criswell, 6-1, 208, currently hold the same offers from Arkansas State, Memphis and Oklahoma State. Toll’s other five offers are from Southern Miss, Carroll College, Rutgers, Texas State and Louisville.
Toll plays quarterback and defensive end for Hazen. In college, he’s being projected as a defensive end or tight end. He attended a Prospect Day at Arkansas on Feb. 11 last year and has been to Fayetteville other times as well including camps.
Criswell also has offers from Arkansas, Colorado, Georgia, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, NC State, South Alabama, UCA and Seton Hill.
At this time, Arkansas has offered three 2020 prospects in the state. In addition to Criswell, the Hogs have offered a pair of outside linebacker, defensive end types. Bryant’s Catrell Wallace, 6-6, 220, and Jonesboro’s Jashaud Stewart, 6-2, 216, both hold Arkansas offers.
Stewart also holds offers from Arkansas State and Liberty. He is one who don’t let his size fool you, he dominates opposing offenses. Should be outstanding in college.
Wallace is also very dominant. In addition to the Hogs, Wallace holds offers from Arkansas State and Virginia.
